just a quick update
my internet at home is down

my oldest and i just arrived home yesterday at midnight

in the category of signs…
she received a call thursday for an interview on tuesday afternoon
plane tickets were outrageous
i was pulling my hair out thinking of how we could wrangle it
i received a phone call friday for an interview on wednesday morning
we just put new tires on her car two weeks ago
so
we drove together
i told him i had to go testify for some legislation
and of course
he didn’t ask
we arrived monday evening
talked to C
a couple friends of ours just assisted their mother in moving back to cali
she rented a duplex in town
they had the number
they also have a small home in a neighboring town that they offered up to us until the duplex might become available
the duplex will be available on june 30

the interview went well
five people on the panel
the gentleman who heads up this department?
well, i went to high school with him
we were band geeks together
and have even partied band style in the almond orchards
a gal that i worked with for four years works for the same administration
i spoke to her after the interview
she’s gonna put in a good word for me with the panel

i should hear something on monday

so
i may have a job lined up
i may have a place to live lined up
my oldest may have her job lined up

we’re back to the waiting
but
now
there’s a big ol’ soon hanging up there
bright as the sun
